Started with an image from Google Maps, extruded the buildings, textured, and gave it this “sketchy” look
Today, i’m working on some sample 3D Floor Plans that I can sent out to potential clients, to show them one of the kinds of services I can provide.
Using Cinema 4D, with the standard renderer. May use the physical or Vray, but I’ll see how these go first.
Comments are welcome as always, and I will continue to update as I go!
Sorry, I know it’s only a small image (posting from my iPhone), but this is a sample of Virtual Furniture I’ve started doing recently.
It’s simply the process of matching a photo of an empty room within a 3D program (Cinema 4D in this case), and then inserting 3D models, correcting lighting/materials, and rerendering.
A larger version of this image can be seen on my website: http://www.BuzzVisual.com
as well as the original photo, before any furniture was added.
Cinema 4D R14, to be released this September, is said to have an amazing camera-matching system built right into it, which looks like it will streamline the workflow even more!
There are plugins around already, but they require a lot of attention and playing around to achieve a decent result. And some scenes are nearly impossible to match, unless you can find exact perpendicular reference points… But more about that later
