Hi all, and welcome to the BuzzVisual blog. My name is Dan, and I’ve created this blog to not only extend my reach throughout the community, but to share tips and tricks that I learn and discover along the way.
I cover a couple of different fields with my work, the main ones being Motion Graphics, and Architectural Visualization.
I use a few different programs, but the ones I’ll be focussing on mostly are Cinema 4D and After Effects. Occasionally, you may see me posting about 3DS Max while I study the iRay GPU renderer, and a few bits and pieces about Photoshop.
I’ll also be covering the plugins and scripts I use for these programs.
The biggest inspiration to me starting this blog was Nick Campbell over at Greyscalegorilla (visit http://www.greyscalegorilla.com/blog). His recent discussion at the Vimeo Festival earlier this year, with Philip Bloom and Blake Whitman has really pushed me to make the leap, and document my passions in a format that is currently a little “alien” to me.
In the near future, I hope to do video tutorials, just as Nick does. However, you will NOT see me copying his content. I love the style and theme he’s done, and hope to do something similar myself, but I will be creating my own content. And (permission pending…), I hope to share some of his posts here, to spread info and help as many people as possible.
If you have any questions about my work, or would like to request to see something specific, please feel free to email me, or even comment here. Thank you for visiting, I hope you tell your friends about me, and come back soon.
